Capturing an object so distant that its light has taken thousands or even millions of years to reach us is, at first glance, no easy task. Below are some aspects outlining the principles (work in progress) as well as the equipment used to observe or photograph astronomical objects.
Some of those instruments or equipment were self built. Other activities required time and organisation to successfully completed. The projects section tells the story of their implementation.
